HealthRota is excited to announce a new integration with CEMBooks, enabling A&Es to automatically feed real-time staffing data directly into CEMBooks’ operational reporting platform.
HealthRota offers intuitive software that simplifies complex rostering and workforce administration tasks for the NHS, with over 50,000 registered users across more than 70 Trusts. Its core e-Rostering solution, along with a modular Reporting API and Power BI adapter, provides advanced data management and visualisation capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with external systems and supporting data-driven decision-making.
This development means that A&Es using CEMBooks for operational insights and HealthRota for medical rostering can now gain instant visibility of staff numbers in a fully automated way—similar to how data inputs from Cerner and Symphony are currently processed.
By leveraging a customer’s HealthRota Reporting API, CEMBooks can now provide a clear, real-time view of how many staff are on shift at any given moment and their distribution across different staffing tiers. This integration enhances situational awareness, enabling departments to optimise workforce planning and resource allocation.
In the upcoming release of CEMBooks V2, users will gain access to tasking metrics, allowing them to track acuity, demand, and staffing capacity in one streamlined view. This powerful combination provides a more comprehensive understanding of operational pressures, helping EDs deliver safe and effective patient care.
