At HealthRota, we are committed to upholding ethical standards and promoting human rights in all aspects of our business operations. Although we are not within scope of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 due to our size, we recognise the importance of addressing issues related to slavery and human trafficking, both within our own operations and throughout our supply chain. HealthRota has detailed policies and procedures in place for dealing with matters such as treating employees fairly, acting in a transparent manner, protecting human rights and other fundamental rights at work such as freedom of association and elimination of discrimination.

As with all our company policies, employees have been provided with training to ensure these policies are adhered to in the workplace and procedures are in place in the event of any violation of our policies and procedures.

About Us

HealthRota Limited, a company registered and operating in London, UK, is a software company geared to improving staff flexibility, wellbeing, work-life balance and retention through our pioneering e-Rostering, e-Job Planning and Locum Workforce Management platform. Designed for the NHS, by NHS staff, HealthRota has been proven to deliver the workforce outcomes required by the NHS Long Term Plan.

Our Core Values

At HealthRota, economic, social, and environmental responsibility is ingrained within our ethos, shaping our operations and maintained as integral components of our business practice.

Our success within the NHS is predominately due to our core values: to deliver innovation-driven solutions, alongside our user-centric approach, that leads to impactful change and continuous improvement.

While our size may exempt us from specific legal obligations, we understand the moral imperative to combat modern slavery and human trafficking in all forms. Therefore, we voluntarily pledge to uphold human rights and contribute to the eradication of modern slavery and human trafficking:

Ethical Conduct: Maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards slavery, human trafficking, and forced labour within our organisation.

Supplier Engagement: Engage with our suppliers and business partners to promote responsible practices and ensure that they share our commitment to ethical conduct.

Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence processes to assess the risk of slavery and human trafficking within our supply chain, despite not being legally obligated to do so.

Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs to our employees to ensure they understand the signs of modern slavery and human trafficking and know how to report any concerns.

Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and enhance our policies, procedures, and practices to strengthen our approach to preventing and addressing modern slavery and human trafficking.

Transparency: Maintain transparency in our operations and communicate openly with stakeholders about our efforts to combat modern slavery and human trafficking, despite not being legally required to publish a statement.

While we may not fall under the regulatory requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we firmly believe that every business has a responsibility to do more and do better, whether enshrined in legislation or not. We are committed to playing our part in this global effort and will continue to work towards a world where every individual is treated with dignity and respect.
